This Banter comes with a few upgrades to improve its already impressive design created by our good friend Ben Petersen.
From the Black Stonewashed Copper Handle scales to the prevalent 20CV blade steel, this Banter feels uber premium!
The Copper thumb studs are complemented by the Black Stonewashed treatment that WE Knife Co. is known for.
Lefty’s, we did not forget about you! While dialing in this exclusive, we had WE machine and tap the front scale for left-hand carry, a first for the Banter line.
The 20CV blade has a thicker stock than the standard production Banter, bringing the thickness from 2.5 mm to 3.2 mm.
The addition of copper brings the weight up to 6.5 oz, making this knife feel super stout in hand!

Ben Petersen has been around the community for a long time and has worked for manufacture companies and retail companies that sell knives. Ben have probably reviewed more knives then most other knife reviewers. The Banter has earned its place in the knife world and anyone who is looking for a well designed, well made knife should definitely take a look at a Banter.

This Banter delivers in every way. Super smooth action and perfect blade centering. The thicker stock and premium materials makes this knife my true baby banter. I love the weight in my and the copper scales are so so nice. Im shocked this is still on stock!!!

WOW, my first We Banter, and boy was it worth the wait. I like a knife with some weight that feels sturdy in my hand when I’m using it and this one sure does. Wowza! Just got mine today and it is beautiful! Love the Banter! Already have the blue and gray and bought my son the jade 20cv. Copper 20cv adds a whole new dimension. Love the looks and extra weight and better blade. Reversible clip is a bonus as well for us lefties! Amazing knife!

In one word: Wowsa!! I already have the Gray G10/Satin Blade Banter – which I absolutely love – but the heft of the copper scales and thicker 20CV blade stock make this the beastliest Banter yet!! I love it! 6.5 ounces is pretty substantial, in the hand and in the pocket – I am amazed how heavy this thing is. The copper is beautifully stonewashed, blade too. The craftsmanship of the entire knife is superb! The action on mine is a bit stiff, but I haven’t taken it apart and cleaned, oiled and tweaked it yet
This is gonna be a great conversation piece! I’m thrilled to have it in my collection.

This is my 7th banter. I have the blue, black, blade hq jade, grey, micarta, dessert
and I’m happy to own the 2004g copper. It hast the heft I want. I know if it’s not in my pocket. I went to HOB yesterday ….2024 and they had one factory sealed in the storage room. Got lucky. Thanks HOB! I’m going to go back and get another one to build with the kaleidoscope flytainium scales
