The UCAP (Up Close and Personal) is a mid-sized fixed blade knife that is well suited for everyday carry and a wide array of other uses. The UCAP was created with a defensive purpose in mind, but is also well equipped for various cutting chores, from first responder type situations, outdoor activities, or just about anything else you can throw at it. The handle is slightly shorter to allow easier concealment, but still offering a nice large blade. Think 1911 CCO style, an Officer size frame with a Commander length barrel.
The UCAP has a bowie-style clip point blade made from Nitro V stainless steel with a Rockwell hardness rating of 59-60. The knife features a 4″ blade that includes a Tungsten Cerakote finish for corrosion resistance and durability. Weighing in at only 5.2 oz, the UCAP is deceptively light, yet well suited for everyday use as well as being a reliable tactical style knife. The beveled and contoured G10 grips feature a diagonal texturing that offers a very secure grip without being overly aggressive or uncomfortable, performing well in wet or dry conditions.
The UCAP comes with a molded kydex scabbard with an inline belt clip suitable for IWB or OWB carry, it can also be easily clipped to a pocket. The sheath is ambidextrous allowing you a wide range of set up options.
