It’s great that they can offer this innovative Pro-Tech Whiskers collaboration knife based on Mike’s fantastic bolster release mechanism many years later.
Upon first glance, there is nothing about the BR-1 Magic Whiskers to make you suspect it’s an automatic knife (no button, of course).
The BOLSTER section of the handle slides up this very deliberate movement is what fires the blade open and also unlocks it from the open position.
