This Microtech is updated with the latest handle style. The UTX-85 231-1 comes with a two-toned Elmax steel blade and an upgraded black aluminum handle. The upgraded handle offers round handle faces and notches to make for a tight grip. The thumb slide’s new design offers a large surface for contact which makes for an easy OTF motion. Microtech Out the Front knives or OTF are each unique. The double action out the front mechanism allows the user to push the thumb slide to deploy and retract the blade. One cool feature out Microtech OTFs is that any time the blade is completely deployed or retracted the inner spring is completely at rest.
