This item is for extra engraving, i.e., more than one engraving on your product. So, for example, if you are getting the blade AND handle engraved or the front and back of a knife or cup, you would add this product to cover both engravings, as you will just need to add the initial engraving on the item by checking the box and filling out the information in the product page of the item you are purchasing.
