B’yondEDC Knives named its premium division Terra Mundi, Latin for “The World,” in commemoration of the company’s formation from teams around the globe coming together and melding into a whole that’s greater than the sum of its parts.

For over 20 years, the B’yondEDC Knives team has worked on numerous projects with various clients, honed their craft, and grew with experience. One of the biggest aspirations of the team is to set the goal for a global stage and show what is possible in the knife community under its branding. In 2020, the opportunity came, and the team leaped at the chance. Testing the water with internal designs showcasing their skills in building a robust daily carry tool for users of every spectrum, the team wasted no time leveraging their advantage.
