The RMJ Tactical Combat Africa is RMJ Tactical’s modern reinterpretation of the historic combat and field blades carried during WWII, redesigned with contemporary materials and RMJ’s hard-use construction philosophy. Unlike compact EDC-oriented RMJ models, the Combat Africa is a large-format field and combat knife built for demanding wilderness, survival, and tactical applications. The design centers around a broad 7-inch clip point blade with substantial thickness and forward cutting power, giving the knife excellent chopping, slicing, and heavy utility capability while still maintaining strong point control. This configuration uses 80CrV2 high carbon steel paired with a Tungsten Cerakote finish for improved corrosion resistance and reduced reflectivity in field environments. The thick blade stock and full-tang construction emphasize durability under extreme hard-use conditions. The handle features machined Hyena Brown G-10 scales with groove texturing for enhanced grip retention and control. A pronounced guard and deep lower finger groove improve handling security during heavy cutting tasks or defensive use.
