Pro-tech is proud to call Mike Whiskers and Denise Allen their friend for over 20 years. It’s great that they can offer this innovative Pro-Tech Whiskers collaboration knife based on Mike’s fantastic bolster release mechanism many years later. Upon first glance, there is nothing about the BR-1 to make you suspect it’s an automatic knife (no button, of course). The BOLSTER section of the handle slides up; this deliberate movement fires the blade open and unlocks it from the open position.
