Microtech’s Ultratech 121-1TCC is the newest addition. It still has the Elmax steel blade and aluminum handle. However, it does offer some slight differences then other Ultratechs. Its new rounded edges on the handle gives this knife a clean profile. The shape and added notches along the handle offer greater stability in your hand. With Ultratech tradition the Elmax two-toned blade is still wear and corrosion resistant. This 121-1TCC offers a new thumb slide which has a Tri-Grip pattern that offers a firm grip when deploying and retracting the blade. Microtech Out the Front knives or OTF are each unique. The double action out the front mechanism allows the user to push the thumb slide to deploy and retract the blade. One cool feature out Microtech OTFs is that any time the blade is completely deployed or retracted the inner spring is completely at rest.
