This Rick Hinderer K2008STS00 MP-1 is a great manual flipper knife that features a CPM-S35VN stainless steel blade. The blade on the knife measures 3.25 in. and has a stonewash finish. The 4.50 in. handle on the MP-1 is made of titanium and offers a solid grip. Overall the length of the knife is 7.75 in. and it weighs approximately 5.6 oz. Made in the U.S.A. MP-1 stands for ‘Modular Platform’ and is the next generation of design and precision to come out of the Hinderer shop! Let’s start with one of the coolest new features: the interchangeable backspacer. Sure, makers have sold different backspaces for their knives before; however, the patent-pending Hinderer backspacer allows the user to do it without taking the knife apart!
